I love the idea of massively amplified outdoor sound, and Hypersynchron plays to this image sonically no less than visually. It's big in character: hard, ominous, abrasive. But also it's layered with an ear for spaces in which quiet sounds frolic in the ruckus: ghostly whines, scraped metal, indefinite throbs, lusciously long reverberation. This is music to excite ears and fire imaginations.
